Filipino-American fighter Ana Julaton will end her two-year absence from MMA when she makes her Bellator debut on October 20 at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut.
The former 2-time world boxing champion will square off against Lisa Blaine in Bellator 185 shortly after signing with the US-based promotion.
Julaton, who is still active as a pro boxer, last fought in an MMA cage in December 2015 when she lost a unanimous decision to Irina Mazepa in ONE Championship.
“The Hurricane” will want to improve on her 2-2 record.
Blaine made her pro MMA debut with a second-round stoppage win over Tammy Worrick at Premier FC 23 in June.
Julaton said she is also open to fighting another boxing star who is entering the MMA territory, Heather Hardy.
“For sure, 100%,” she said in MMAFighting.com. “She got some titles in boxing, I’ve won some world titles in boxing and I think a lot of people would like to see some knockouts, so you put us in the cage.”
