MANILA, Philippines – Emilio Aguinaldo College (EAC) guns for a share of the lead when it clashes with Colegio de San Juan de Letran, even as defending champion San Beda College aims to get back on the win column when it faces De La Salle-College of St. Benilde (CSB) in the NCAA Season 93 tournament on Tuesday at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

Cameroonian Hamadou Laminou and skipper Sidney Onwubere both tallied double-doubles for the Generals last Friday in a 74-64 win over CSB for their first win of the season.

Another victory over the Knights, who fell to Mapua University last week, will catapult the Generals to the top alongside idle Lyceum of the Philippines University (2-0).

Game time is at 12 noon.

Laminou had 21 points, 13 rebounds, and seven blocks, while Onwubere tallied 11 points, 14 boards, four assists, three steals and a block against CSB. Both men figure to be sources of concern for the Knights in their next game.

"We will rely on them the whole season, and I expect them to come up big again," EAC coach Ariel Sison said of his frontline.

The Red Lions, meanwhile, are expected to bounce back when they take on the Blazers at 2 p.m.

San Beda is coming off a heartbreaking 91-96 loss to Lyceum last Friday.

Arellano University and Jose Rizal University face off at 4 p.m., with both squads eyeing their second win that will push them out of a heavy six-team logjam for third place.
