Team PH pulls off 3x3 upset against Romania

The Philippines is off to a bright start in the 2017 FIBA 3x3 World Cup, as they stunned powerhouse Romania, 21-15, early Monday morning in Nantes, France.

The 18th seeded Filipinos pulled off a massive upset against the seventh seeded Romanians to take an early lead in Pool B of the tournament.

Kobe Paras led the Philippines in scoring with 12 points.

Meanwhile, Cezar Baragau spearheaded Romania's attack with five points.

The Filipinos return to action later on Monday against host team France.
