After combining for 29 points against lesser competition in their Lithuanian debut Tuesday, LiAngelo and LaMelo Ball each failed to score in Vytautas' 95-86 loss to Lietkabelis on Saturday.

The game was their first Lithuanian league contest, which counts in the standings. LiAngelo went 0-for-3 from the field, while LaMelo was 0-for-4, as both brothers spent the majority of the game on the bench. LiAngelo, 19, played nine minutes, and LaMelo, 16, played five.

LiAngelo started and scored 19 points while LaMelo had 10 points and nine assists Tuesday in the first game of the Big Baller Brand Challenge -- a series of five "friendly" games against second-tier teams. In that contest, Vytautas beat Zalgiris 90-80 in front of a crowd of about 1,500 people, including the boys' father, LaVar Ball, and his wife, Tina.

Vytautas entered Saturday's game in last place in the Lithuanian league standings with a 4-13 record. Lietkabelis is in fourth place at 12-6.

Vytautas' next game is part of the Big Baller Brand Challenge on Monday and will be played at home against Lietuvos Rytas' second team.
