MANILA - Militant groups marched towards Mendiola near Malacanang on Thursday to protest alleged killings under President Rodrigo Duterte's war on drugs.

Carrying placards saying "Stop killing the youth!" protesters from the youth and indigenous peoples sectors condemned the killing of 19-year-old Lumad Obello Bay-ao who was shot just last September 5 in Davao del Norte.

The 10th grader was on his way home from the farm when he was allegedly shot by Joven and Ben Salangani, supposed Citizen Armed Force Geographical Units (CAFGU) members in the community.

The group Sandugo likened Bay-ao's killing to that of Kian delos Santos and Carl Angelo Arnaiz.

Delos Santos and Arnaiz, died after allegedly fighting it out with policemen.
