MANILA - There was an unusually long wait before bags were released from Cebu Pacific Flight 5J 311 from Hong Kong, the uploader of the viral video of a distressed passenger claiming baggage theft said on Monday.
Joseph Carillo was on board Flight 5J 311 which arrived in Manila last Saturday, April 14, along with the female passenger claiming her luggage was opened and that her iPad and other items were stolen.
Carillo secretly filmed the passenger in the video that went viral.
He said it is not clear whether or not the female passenger is an overseas Filipino worker.

In the video, the passenger can be seen searching her bags while complaining.
The female passenger was later escorted by some airport personnel to file a complaint, Carillo said.
Earlier on Monday, Cebu Pacific said it is investigating the matter.
