Computer sketches of journalist's killers out

MANILA, Philippines – The Northern Police District released Monday the computerized illustration of three suspected hired killers who fatally shot DZME broadcaster Marlina Flores Sumera last Thursday.

The gunman was described as dark skinned, medium built, between 20 to 21 years old and stands 5'2". The second suspect was described as heavyset, 20 to 21 years old, standing 5'2".

The third suspect is medium built, stands 5'3", aged 45 to 50 years old. Reports said that the third suspect repeatedly visited the victim’s home prior to the killing.

Initial investigations also revealed that a fourth suspect, probably a woman, served as a lookout.

Authorities are looking at Sumera’s position as president of the Silonian Neighborhood Association (SNA) as a possible motive for the murder.

A P200,000 reward is being offered to anyone who can give information that will lead to the arrest of the killers. Report from Gus Abelgas, ABS-CBN News
