MANILA – She won the Latina-dominated Reina Hispanoamericana in Bolivia last year.
But Teresita “Wyn” Marquez revealed that she is still eligible to join Binibining Pilipinas, which sends representatives to pageants like Miss Universe and Miss International.
“Actually, puwede pa po akong sumali ng Bb. Pilipinas next year. I can still join,” she said in an interview with the entertainment website Push.
Marquez first joined Bb. Pilipinas in 2015 and finished in the Top 15 of the national pageant.
When asked if she is open to competing in Bb. Pilipinas again, she replied: “Pasok pa rin, pero I don’t know. We’ll see.”
“Everything is possible. I don’t want to close any doors, pero nasa age limit pa ako and puwede pa akong sumali at 26 years old,” she added.
Marquez was able to represent the country in Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 through the Miss World Philippines pageant.
Catriona Gray, who will wear the Philippine sash in this year’s Miss Universe, first competed in Miss World and finished in the Top 5.
