MANILA – “London may be one of the most bustling metropolises in the world, but it doesn’t feel as hectic and crowded as other big cities – there’s plenty of space to breathe.”

This is what Rachelle Ann Go said as she shared some of her favorite spots in London, where she is currently based. 

The Filipino singer and actress stars in the West End production of the acclaimed hip-hop musical “Hamilton.”

“I don’t get a ton of free time with my hectic schedule, but when I do, I love exploring a new neighborhood and finding a clutch of mews houses or a lane of charming boutiques and little pubs to spend an afternoon wandering around,” she told Mabuhay Magazine.

1. Pimlico Road Farmers’ Market


Go said she likes making breakfast at home, and she frequents this market to buy her produce for the week.

2. Olivier’s Bakery


Go recommends this bakery’s almond loaf and buttery croissants. 



Go said she “dreams” about the Feta Saganaki (pan-seared cheese) and handmade Spanakopita (spinach pie) served in this Greek-inspired restaurant.

Go said this market in the courtyard of St. Marylebone Parish Church is “a bargain-hunting fashionista’s dream.”
