MANILA - Actor Adrian Justine 'AJ' Muhlach is now engaged to his long-time girlfriend, Anna Mabasa.
On Instagram on Thursday, "The Blood Sisters" actor shared the good news as he posted a photo of him putting a ring on his soon-to-be wife.
In the caption, Muhlach wrote: At last, I'm... engaged to my 'EVERYTHING'. All my life I always try to find MEANING on everything that happens in my life to the point where I QUESTION why I was even born. I had answers. But those ANSWERS only brought more questions. Then, I met you. My first 'concluding' ANSWER. An answer that didn't bring more questions. You brought certainty to my doubts.. With you came what being genuinely happy and truly caring for someone means. Why I should do things in my life that were meaningless to me. And why this and that happens. You gave all of them MEANING."
"Your voice became my conscience that speaks to me whenever I do anything from the tiniest of things to the hardest decisions of my life. You became my driving force. My inspiration. My motivation. My happiness, my Baby, my Love, my Soulmate, My Anna - My 'EVERYTHING'. Thank you my love. I hope I made you happy last July 8, 2018. This is for all the answers, meanings and everythings you brought to me. I love you so much!" Muhlach added.
Also on Instagram, Mabasa expressed her happiness over the engagement.
"Almost 8 years in the making. I would be lying if I say I didn’t expect it. In fact, I waited for it. But somehow, you still managed to surprise me. It still feels unreal to me, all because it was a dream that came true. Our story is a complicated one and people often admire me for standing strong. What they don’t know is that you are my backbone. I was searching for my personal legend and I was lost for years but everything led back to you. My personal legend is to be that one person for you. To serve, guide and love you til my very last breath. MAKTUB; It is written. So here I am, no hesitations, no second thoughts, YES MY LOVE, I WILL MARRY YOU!"
Prior to "The Blood Sisters," Muhlach showed off his acting prowess in hit series "La Luna Sangre" as one of the moonchasers and "FPJ's Ang Probinsyano" as a member of the rebel group Pulang Araw.
