Coleen Garcia admitted she underestimated the hard work that comes with planning a wedding and she feels it even more now that she is set to tie the knot with Billy Crawford in a few days.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News’ MJ Felipe, Garcia said she had these “unrealistic expectations” about the things that she was supposed to do while preparing for the big day that didn’t materialize.

“The reality is, like now, I already have a fever. I guess I underestimated it, all the planning. But ganun naman daw talaga from all the stories we’ve heard, it’s actually the same for every couple,” she said.

When asked what stresses her out, Garcia said it’s still the adjustments that they have to do in fixing their guest list.

“It doesn’t stop with the adjustment. To the very last day, baka may adjustment pa rin. Everything naman that we are worried about is guest-related. Kasi sa styling and everything, sobrang relaxed na kami,” she said.

“May mga relatives na nahihirapan din pumunta so we want to assist as much as possible. We really want everybody close to us to be there. That’s really a challenge, to get all of the important people there. At least towards the wedding, it’s kind of shaping up a bit pero may crunch time pa rin talaga for preparations.”

Despite their busy days, Garcia and Crawford said it’s nice that they still get to spend time with their families, especially on Saturday when they threw a Despedida de Soltera for the both of them.

“This is a different celebration because this was really organized by family. Yung family naming hindi naman sila sanay. They are not in showbiz. Pero naitawid nila ng sobrang maganda. Actually pagpasok namin, akala naming simple celebration lang pero grabe,” Garcia shared.

Present at the event were Garcia’s parents as well as Crawford’s mom and dad who just flew in from the United States.

Meanwhile, Garcia shared that their honeymoon is already in the works.

“Later on in the year. He still has some projects that he committed to so kailangan ayusin yun. As for my schedule, naiayos na so siya lang yung hinihintay ko,” she said.

When asked where they plan to go, Garcia said: “We are thinking of the US kasi we really love New York so we are always on that side so we are trying to experiment and maybe see more of the other side of the States.”

The two said they will also drop by the place where Crawford’s parents live.
