Ryan Bang, a South Korea-born actor whose "Pinoy Big Brother" stint spurred his Philippine showbiz career, has been vocal about his love and appreciation for the country he now calls home.
As a mainstay on "It's Showtime," ABS-CBN's flagship variety show, Bang has also endeared himself to Filipino viewers. He is, in fact, set to top-bill a Star Cinema production for the first time, alongside Kim Chiu.
His showbiz career here has also opened doors for him in his birth country, where he recently represented the Philippines during a pre-opening ceremony ahead of the PyeongChang Winter Olympics.
This came up as a topic during a portion of "It's Showtime" Tuesday, where Bang also had the "madlang people" laughing with his candid answer to co-host Vice Ganda's question, on whether he prefers K-dramas or Kapamilya teleseryes.
