Many millennials consider themselves "work martyrs" who forfeit unused vacation days because of guilt, a study found.

In a survey published in 2016 on Harvard Business Review, it was found that 43 percent of millennials consider themselves "work martyrs". Oftentimes, they forfeit unused vacation days because they "feel guilty" when they leave their workplaces.

In a recent interview, Hong Kong-based research company Colliers International meanwhile said that millennials tend to spend long hours in the office, which may indicate why millennials tend to blur the distinction between home and the workplace.

Making their workplace more flexible and comfortable has become a top demand for millennials. They seek factors such as good air quality and healthier food options, among others.

To answer the wellness demands of this generation, Edsa Shangri-La, Manila once again takes part in the celebration of global wellness month through "LIVE 2018, a Body & Spirit Festival" happening on June 9 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Top wellness experts including Dr. Vicki Belo, nutritionist Harvie Baron, and MMA coach Gino Roque will be joining the event as speakers.
