Out of 14,000 hopefuls, five Filipino youths were chosen to embark on a week-long journey in some of the country's most sought-after destinations.

Cebu Pacific last week named the winners of its "Juan for Fun 2018" challenge. Each of the winners brought along two of their travel buddies as they conquer local tourist attractions all around the Philippines.

Team MJ composed of environmentalist Michael Saturos of Surigao City, with teammates Mendel and Eddielyn, at the Sunken Cemetery in Camiguin.

Team Elmo composed of spiring solider Elmo Ador, Jr. of Iloilo, with teammates Chriselda and Glyxx, at Moalboal in Cebu.

Team Kim composed of aspiring traveller Frances Banico of Sultan Kudarat, with teammates Loraine and Mark, at El Nido, Palawan.

Team Ronil composed of tour guide Ronil Ferolino, Jr. of Zamboanga del Sur, with teammates Deofranco and Rose, at the Chava Stone House in Batanes.

Team Nathan composed of student-teacher Jonathan Cuanso of Baguio City, with teammates Kenny and Necho, at the Apo Island Lighthouse in Dumaguete.

All teams were guided by this year's travel coaches namely, celebrity and travel vlogger Bea Binene, social media personality Baninay Bautista, travel writer Jude Bacalso, vlogger Kimpoy Feliciano, YouTuber Wil Dasovich, and blogger Kyle "Kulas" Jennermann.

Teams were also given a "Special Fun Challenge Booklet" which listed activities that they had to accomplish throughout their journey. These challenges included a roster of interesting activities like climbing mountains, chasing waterfalls, and promoting sustainable tourism.

As Juan for Fun 2018 opened up this new world of possibility and learning through travel, Cebu Pacific is very excited to see how much the participants have transformed after this week-long journey.
