With the Star Magic Ball just around the corner, Coleen Garcia is more than happy to switch out her usual oversized tees and leggings for something more elegant and red carpet-appropriate.

“I’m really excited to show off this gown, because it’s such a simple yet strong style statement, very me!” Coleen smiles. As a health buff, she has been working hard to achieve a leaner physique in time for the red carpet. “I’ve actually gained a little bit of weight, so I’ve had to put in extra hours at the gym. I’ve been doing a lot of indoor cycling, which is the no. 1 and most effective workout for me when it comes to shredding.”

In addition to hitting the gym, she’s been strictly following a sugar-free, low carb diet. “But this is not just in preparation for the ball,” she reveals. “For me personally, I decided to really change my eating habits, because though I was a pretty healthy eater before, I would often still feel sluggish and lethargic.”

After reducing her sugar intake, Coleen can definitely feel the difference. “It’s been a few months and I haven’t had cravings. Actually, the outcome has been better than I’d expected,” she says, adding she’s seen an incredible boost in her energy, her reflexes are much quicker, and she feels a lot less bloated.

Now being tip-top shape and feeling beautiful from the inside out, Coleen is ready to hit the red carpet. Though her smartphone is usually filled with photos of sceneries and her pets, Coleen is sure to shoot more selfies with her new OPPO F5 phone, an elegant piece to go with any red-carpet gown, launching this October.

“I’m really excited for this year, because this is the last time I’ll be walking down the red carpet as a single lady. The next time you may see me, it’ll be the on church aisle and me in my wedding gown!” Coleen says excitedly.
